We refer to the Blog dated dated 21st October 2016 posted Godfrey Sayers and are pleased to advise that as a result of The Friends of North Norfolk intervention this Application was withdrawn by the applicant on the 13th December 2016.
The FNN sought legal advice and our solicitor – Richard Hewitt of Hayes & Storr Solicitors highlighted several deficiencies and the invalidity of the application.
If The FNN had not been alert and sought legal opinion it is highly likely that NNDC Planning Officers would have wrongly approved the application and the consequences /implications would have compromised Proper Planning in this very important and sensitive location.
We now call upon NNDC LPA to apply Article 4 (2) Directions with immediate effect to this Site so that all Permitted Development Rights are removed.
This is an example of the positive contribution that FNN makes to the protection of this exceptional coast.
